The new Health Sciences Center Women’s Hospital, which has yet to be opened, is not only a dedicated ward for women but also architecturally pleasing. This building has been well designed for utility and aesthetics alike.

The pink planters, which were early on dubbed as the “jellybean planters”, are of a unique design that required the cutting and rolling of I-beams to get their shape. They were then welded together in sections and later powder coated. On-site, they were assembled and bolted together. There are two locations where these can be found; one set on a balcony and the other under the overhang entrance.
